The Sofar HYD-E P hybrid inverter is used in a photovoltaic system with a battery. The energy produced by the photovoltaic system will be optimized for maximum self-consumption. The Sofar HYD-E P inverter can operate in automatic mode or mode of use (TOU), charging/discharging the battery when needed. In automatic mode, the Sofar HYD-E P inverter will charge the excess photovoltaic energy to the battery and discharge it accordingly to feed the consumers when the energy from the panels is not sufficient. In the event of a power failure, the Sofar HYD-E P inverter can operate in emergency power supply (EPS) mode. When there is no power from the grid, the Sofar HYD-E P inverter will use power from the PV panels and the energy stored in the battery to power the critical consumers.
