With a hybrid inverter software update, the new Solaredge Home Battery will be able to connect to both the new Solaredge Hybrid Hub Series (RWB) and the current Hybrid Series (RWS). The SolarEdge home battery is a modular system and consists of one or more battery modules. The system can subsequently be expanded by adding additional modules or parallel towers. Direct parallel connection of up to 2 towers also enables a maximum capacity of 23 kWh. In combination with the Home Hub hybrid inverter and backup box, a backup power system can be created.
